Terms of service
Last updated 21 August 2026
These terms cover bookings made with Navy Black Transportation through this website, by phone or by text. Booking a ride means you accept them.
1. Booking and confirmation
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Your trip is confirmed when we reply by text, email or phone. We aim to confirm within the hour during operating times.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the pickup address, drop-off address, date and time you provide. A trip that cannot be completed because the details were wrong may still be charged.
2. Prices and quotes
The fare shown when you book is calculated from our published rates and the trip you entered. Rates for each service are set out on the service pages of this site and are the same rates the booking form uses.
Where a service is marked as quoted rather than priced online, we give you a firm price before the trip is confirmed.
A quoted fare assumes the trip as booked. Additional stops, waiting beyond the time booked, a changed destination, or a longer route requested by you may change the price. We will tell you before charging anything beyond the quote.
Tolls, airport fees, parking and gratuity are not included in the quoted fare unless we say otherwise in writing.
3. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed with your booking. Where an invoice is agreed for a business or charter account, payment is due on the terms stated on that invoice.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
>> The cancellation window and any cancellation fee must be set by the business before this page is published. Replace this paragraph with the real policy. <<
If a passenger is not at the pickup location and cannot be reached, the driver may leave after a reasonable wait and the trip may be charged.
5. Waiting time
A reasonable amount of waiting time is included at pickup. Beyond that, waiting may be charged, and on hourly bookings it forms part of the hours you have booked.
6. Conduct and condition of the vehicle
Passengers must wear seat belts and follow the driver’s reasonable instructions. The driver may end a trip where a passenger is abusive, threatening, or unsafe to carry.
Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle. Smoking, or any biohazard cleanup, is subject to a cleaning fee as stated on this site.
Damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger is chargeable at the cost of repair.
7. Luggage and property
Tell us about unusual luggage when you book so we can send a suitable vehicle. We are not responsible for property left in a vehicle, but we will make reasonable efforts to return anything found.
8. Delays and events outside our control
We plan for traffic, but we cannot guarantee arrival times. We are not liable for losses caused by delays arising from traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical failure, or other events outside our reasonable control.
9. Service area
We operate in Dallas–Fort Worth and the surrounding metroplex. Address search on this site is limited to Texas. Trips beyond the usual service area are arranged by agreement.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
>> Have a Texas attorney review this section, and the insurance and limitation-of-liability wording appropriate to the operator’s licensing and coverage, before publishing. <<
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Texas have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to your booking.
